July 26, 2018: Full justice was done to the power and beauty of Elgar’s Cello Concerto in its performance by the New York Philharmonic, led by former Assistant Conductor Joshua Weilerstein and spotlighting MacArthur “genius grant” recipient Alisa Weilerstein (yes, the two are brother and sister) during the Orchestra’s residency at Bravo Vail.
