This is my Lakewood 1600 DX from July of 1990. 16". Its definitely the beginning of the cheaper fans era, while the motor is still very good, you can see many features that are starting to get cheap on this unit such as controls mounted on the motor, lack of basic things like a handle, flimsy plastic etc. The performance of this fan is only average. It moves a reasonable amount of air, but its very, very noisy. A 12" Galaxy/Lasko oscillator with the translucent blade set will outperform this any day.
