In this video I show you how to make a delicious sorrel aka rosella coconut sweet bread to serve to your family and friends during this festive season!  Happy Holidays!!


You will need:
4 cups all purpose flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
2 teaspoons almond essence or vanilla essence
2 sticks of butter
1/2 cup raisins
1 cup mixed fruits or mixed peel
3/4 cup sorrel puree
1 cup grated coconut
3/4 cup coconut milk or evaporated milk
2 eggs
a few drops of Angostura bitters
