8th place finisher in the Toyota Allstar Showdown, but it did not come easy for Van. After a spin early on, Van raced his way back up to 11th and was able to squeeze around a wreck coming out of the final turn to reach 8th. Van was Irwindale Speedway's 2006 champion in the Super Late Model division.
