According to Atul Suri, CEO of Marathon Trends, Indians markets are witnessing their best time compared to their global counterparts. “India has been a spectacular market compared to anything else globally; the emerging markets (EMs) if you look at, the Morgan Stanley Capital International (MSCI) emerging market index is 20 percent down from lifetime highs," Suri told CNBC-TV18 on Friday. “Take out US, you will find that most markets are actually struggling. India has been a standout market and the smoothness of the move. So I personally think it’s the best market in the last two-three months” he said. Talking about the banks, he said,"Corporate and public sector undertaking (PSU) banks are undergoing a catch-up rally." According to him, consumption will be the next big theme in the market.
