An important part of livin' the pirate lifestyle be about passion. You're passionate about something, right?


I found some pictures I forgot about and finding them I have been doing a bit of reminiscing. 

I met Gary Vaynerchuk for the first time in December 2009. Gary and his book Crush It!, here is my personalized signed copy, was a major factor in me creating this YouTube channel, Pirate Lifestyle TV. Gary told me, "Rob, look at yourself in the mirror and ask yourself, what do I want to do every day for the rest of my life? And do that!" 

Gary's next book, The Thank You Economy, is also a great book. And it isn't just because I am mentioned in this book. 

Gary talks about how everything has changed, because of Social Media, except human nature. And how to use both, human nature and social media, to be successful in today's economy.  

Gary really understands how Social Media has irreversibly changed our lives. How big corporations -- the Gatekeepers - have lost control of media and how normal people, like you and me, "we're pretty normal right?," can build a niche community around whatever it is we are passionate about. 

How freakin' cool is that?! 

So listen to Gary. And listen to me. 

Find the thing you are passionate about. What do you want to do each and every day for the rest of your life? Then do that!
