Monday, 25 June 2018 The Question: I registered with several talent agencies in Sydney over the years when I was told to supply my own photo portfolio, as their room they held photo shoots was not wheelchair accessible. I did that. When I eventually got called up for an audition for a commercial I was told that they were being held up stairs. I asked if they could move my audition to a more accessible venue. They said they would get back to me. I’m still waiting! How am I, as a disabled person supposed to go into my world and change negative and stereotypical attitudes and perceptions if I cannot physically access the talent agencies and auditions?
