Making a Lamp From an Old Lawnmower Blade

I made one of these around 2 years ago and recently a relative suggested making a second one to have them at opposite ends of a piece of furniture. I already had the old mower sat outside so I decided to make another lamp. Two parts of the video are missing which are drilling the hole in the tube and drilling the hole in the central divider of the blade, this was due to having full memory in the camera and then a flat battery. Before I soldered the tube to the blade I attempted to weld it but my welder is playing up, so the little bit of really bad weld that I got had to be cut off. I don't know if soldering was the right thing to do as I have no idea what to do when it comes to soldering but it worked and the tube is on there solid. Most the parts of this lamp were reclaimed from other items or saved from the scrap pile, even the wire and switch were saved from another old lamp, the only new part is the light bulb. My upload schedule has been very hit and miss so I am going to try to stick to schedule of a new video every 2 weeks. Lack of time to make the videos is the main reason but as i make most of my things from scrap and reclaimed items it is sometimes difficult to source certain things which in turn makes the projects take longer. I have a couple of restoration videos in the works and hopefully if all goes to plan and I have the time one will be uploaded very soon.
