Is the Hubble Space Telescope dead? No, but Hubble is in trouble. It lost one of the three gyros it needs to point and maintain its pointing during science operations. Hubble is in safe mode and engineers are working to determine the best course of action. Chances are HST may go to a single gyro mode, which would keep Hubble operational a little longer, but it may have to change the way it goes about its business. 🔴 Subscribe to my channel: https://www.youtube.com/christianready?sub_confirmation=1 🔴 Share this video with a friend: https://youtu.be/NCuzKYU7tuQ 🔴 From out of town?
