Cloud, Tifa, Barret and the rest of AVALANCHE scale the many levels to get to the heart of Mako Reactor 5. There, Cloud has a brief flashback of another Reactor and another Tifa, who vows to get revenge on Shinra. On their way out, the trio is ambushed by President Shinra and his Techno-Soldier, the Airbuster. And although they defeat it, the machine explodes, thrusting Cloud into the depths of the slums below.

“Sephiroth… SOLDIER… Mako Reactors…Shinra… Everything! I hate them all!”
