A: When applying for the Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program under the Labour Impact category's streams, you need to provide copies of birth certificates for yourself, your spouse, and your dependent children. You should also provide copies of documents pertaining to your marital status, such as a marriage or a divorce certificate, adoption papers for any adopted children, proof of custody for children younger than 18, proof that you can remove your children from the court's jurisdiction, proof that you don't have any outstanding custodial obligations, and proof of full time studies for all dependent children aged 22 or older. You are also required to provide copies of passports and / or travel documents for yourself and everyone accompanying you, as well as status documents or visas for your country of residence. If you're applying under the Family Connection stream, you should provide copies of documentation that proves your familial relationship to your champion, as well as documents that prove the champion's status in Canada. If you're applying under any of the other streams, you can still provide the same documents for any family member you have in Canada. You should also include any correspondence from previous immigration attempts, as well as a statutory notarized declaration stating that you want to immigrate to Canada without your dependents in the case they are not immigrating with you.
