Two thirds of Senators voted to advance a measure which would withdraw the support of the Saudi-led coalition fighting in Yemen. This despite the Secretary of State and the Defence Secretary saying the motion would worsen the situation in Yemen. Mike Pompeo and Jim Mattis met with Senators before the vote. CIA head, Gina Haspel wasn't at the briefing, making many senators unhappy.
