Still in the first area for this part. I take it pretty slow when starting off. I also try experimenting with Parrying. Don't bother, it's really not worth it and tends to only work on human enemies. While that can be useful for certain bosses, it's usually yokai that give you trouble.

When you get to a house-like area there is a yokai inside. Yokai are fought differently than humans, dropping yokai realm circles on the ground that slow your ki regen and speed up theirs. They can't be forced back by brute force as much as human enemies so you have to dodge them more and predict their attacks.

That being said some yokai, like the first kind seen in this mission, have weaknesses. For the red horned demons it's their horns, break those and they lose all stamina immediately and drop to the ground. When a yokai loses all it's stamina it loses it's hit resistance so you can go to town on it.

The second area after that yokai has a lot of fire around and a lot more demons you'll have to get used to fighting. The fire will drain your health ridiculously fast, but it can also hurt the enemies a lot too if you can get them in it somehow.

I also started to use some of my ninjutsu items in this part. The kunai are very reliable throughout the entire game for a quick, safe, long range attack that deals reasonable damage. Getting that last chip of damage in can be invaluable in a tough situation.

There's so much to go into in this game it's hard to think of everything to say all at once lol. But I have plenty more parts to talk about it as we go on.
