Elena is a PhD student of Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology. Since 2008 is working on mathematical modeling. Elena took part in modeling of the blood flow in veins when a blood clot is present, blood clotting speed and movement of blood disks in the blood flow.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.
