Tui Na Centre during our last presentation explaining importance of Cranial Nerves in our treatment , as it plays important part in production of speech . The trigeminal nerve is the fifth cranial nerve located within the brain, and is primarily responsible for transmitting sensations from the face to the brain. Mouth , teeth, face, and nasal cavity are all connected to brain through the trageminal nerve . It is also the nerve that controls the muscles used for chewing. Massaging the face region and relaxation of a trageminal cranial nerve you are improving facial expression, taste in the front two thirds of the tongue, production of saliva and tears, and control of a muscle involved in hearing.
