MIAMISBURG -- Josh Myers went on a trip to Columbus as part of Ohio State's juniors day, despite only being a sophomore, and came back to Miamisburg officially committed to play for the Buckeyes.
Ohio State initially offered Myers in March of 2014 during a week long stretch where the freshman earned scholarship offers from OSU, Michigan and Florida.
It didn't take long until teams like Alabama, Notre Dame and countless others offered the standout offensive lineman.
All of this before playing his sophomore year of high school.
Many recruiting services consider Myers not only the top offensive lineman of the 2017 class but one of the country's top sophomore prospects.
Many thought Kentucky's family ties could play a factor with his older brother Zach currently playing for the wildcats and his father Brad a former starting lineman for UK as well.
Once Ohio State offered Josh Massillon quarterback and fellow freshman at the time Danny Clark who was already committed to OSU began recruiting Myers and now the future buckeyes QB has the guy that will protect him for years to come.
