TCRF mentions an inscription on the Alis statue in the Elsydeon cave that isn't normally viewable. I wanted to actually see this in English though since their pic is from the Japanese version.

Normally when you approach the pedestal the cutscene will automatically start. When it's over you will be taken back to the basement of the Esper Mansion and you can never get into the cave again. I guess they intended for you to examine the statue before getting the sword but then decided to just force the cutscene instead.

You will need warp code FFEC29:15e
Additionally, you may need walk through walls: RFPT-J6YE
This is because warping here from anywhere but the Esper Mansion basement will get you stuck in a wall. I should have done it from there in the first place. But I took a video of this without thinking. I just made sure I was actually in Dezolis.

If you do this from a place other than Dezolis you will need an additional code or you'll be taken elsewhere. I was on Motavia and was taken to Alys' house instead. The additional code is : FFEC28:1

Also, when accessing the room with the Elsydeon from places like Motavia the inscription will be text from elsewhere in the game. When I accessed this room from Motavia the text was about a kitchen. This wrong text issue can happen in other similar situations as well.
