Once again WeWatchedaMovie brings you a review from our Netflix Nuggets catalog! Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon is a mockumentary/horror/comedy which takes place in the small, sleepy town of Glen Echoes and centers around up and comer serial killer Leslie Vernon. Our would be slasher invites a small film crew to document his tentative beginnings as the next great mass murderer in hopes that the world will see just how hard it is to be a successful killer of legend. Freddy Krueger who? Jason Voorhees, please... Michael Myers, yesterday's news. THIS IS LESLIE VERNON!! The movie stars Nathan Baesel, Angela Goethals, and Robert Englund and is directed by Scott Glosserman who also served as co-writer. Check it out on Netflix Instant Stream!
