The Tennessee Departments of Tourist Development and Transportation in partnership with the Knoxville Tourism and Sports Corporation officially launched the White Lightning Trail on June 25, 2010. The trail features 160 tourist sites in Knoxville, Knox County and eight surrounding counties.
