Many 1West apologists claim #Jonah only went to Ninevah to preach to #Israelites there. Unfortunately, their chronology is out of order (they also forget the KING repented. Do they really think the King of Ninevah was an ISRAELITE???). The Assyrian Invasion and Dispersion of Israel took place in 722 BC and after. Jonah was PRIOR to that. Jonah ministered (800–750 b.c.). We know because he was active during the reign of King Jeroboam II (793–753). See 2 Kings 14:25 "according to the word of the LORD, the God of Israel, which he spoke by his servant oJonah the son of Amittai, the prophet, who was from Gath-hepher". the point? ISRAELITES WERE NOT SCATTERED TO NINEVAH YET, WHICH WAS NOT EVEN THE CAPITAL CITY AT THAT TIME YET! I had to make a whole video about it to help people get the timeline correct and in order!
