Making the yellow totem from Monument Valley in solid pine - a game prop build with a table saw, a drill press and a lot of paint. Four stacked cubes, a dowel through the middle, and a shape any Monument Valley player recognises instantly. 🟡 No pattern for this one. For a custom piece: [email protected] 🛠️ HOW IT WAS MADE Starting from a 90x90 mm pine beam, cut down on the table saw and the thickness planer into four 80x80 mm cubes. Three of them drilled all the way through, the last one only halfway. Assembly with a 12 mm round dowel, four washers and two-part epoxy. The build is straightforward - the two tricky parts are drilling dead centre through a cube, and painting every single face cleanly. My son plays Monument Valley 1 & 2 and asked me for the yellow totem, so it got made. 🔗 THE RED GUILD Website & patterns: https://www.redsmithleatherwork.com/ Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/TheRedsmith Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/redsmithleatherwork/ TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@redsmithleatherwork ▶ MORE BUILDS Geeky Stuffs: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLI_q71s3tlRfgF7xPuKlwDfnLQZiuaUAx Woodworking: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLI_q71s3tlRevVpKLtFfE7wOJvOpU9oJp Metalworking: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLI_q71s3tlRcyLPn1VwCgRuUkpn8AJPN7 Leatherworking: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLI_q71s3tlRdKcEV_XAbbnO-67biUivK_ 🎵 Music: "Presence Felt" by Gavin Luke (Epidemicsound.com) If you have any question, leave it in the comments - I do my best to answer them all.
