July 4, 2012, Kingman AZ.  Well, it started raining early the fourth of July.  I really thought it wouldn't move away in time to save the fireworks display to occur just after sunset.  I shot some video footage around town during the day.  People were moving about not that concerned about the weather.  One very nice thing is the rain cooled temperatures to around 70 degrees, whereas we were having a 100 degree heat wave for quite a while.

Anyway, some time before sunset, the rain stopped.  The 4th of July Fireworks Display began on time as planned.  My wife is from the Philippines (a Filipina).  She was so thrilled to see this huge fireworks display.  We were out in the backyard enjoying the weather and this truly remarkable event together.
