Initial impression is this is a decent flashlight. Throws a spot out past 100 yards, good fill, no dark spots in the beam. Sturdy case, decent feel on the switch. Uses 2 AA batteries. High and Low beam settings. Low is definitely as bright as you might need at close range. Not Charlie Sheen but not a bad balance of power and longevity.

Uses Cree LED but not the latest gen.I think this light is a "G" Cree LED. Switch is simple on/off momentary if you press lightly. Housing has a 25.4mm or 1" mounting diameter surface about 19mm (0.75") wide that makes this an easy light to fit into standard 1" scope rings or light mounts.
