Inside the City Palace of Jaipur in Rajasthan in North India I found puppet players and musicians from Rajasthan on 15th December 2010. They imitated the dancing of Michael Jackson with indian feeling of erotic dancing with a speciality to throw his head in the air, This performance is typical for the capacity of Indians to assimilate all kinds of foreign influences, this time they use Popstar Michael Jackson. After the dance of Michael Jackson followed a snakecharmer and a cobra in interaction, The cobra seems to have killed the snakecharmer but there is a happy end when the snakecharmer becomes alive again or is reborn - to use Indian philosophy of incarnation Does anyone knows the meaning of the songs? Would appreaciate if Indians leave a comment with translation in English.
