This method and formula can also be applied to pies and tartlets as well. This formula can also exclude the use of the chocolate to yield a plain pecan tart or pie. The refrigerated shelf life of this item is close to two weeks without hesitation. It can be slightly warmed in a microwave before being served for softening enhancement purposes, but is not necessary. In order to maximize the ideal texture requirements I recommend that it’s served slightly warm or at least room temperature and not ice cold.
