Found this footage on VHS and it's too cute not to share. In hindsight, we shouldn't have introduced Sam to Dante so quickly, but we learned from our mistakes. Originally I named him Lucifer Sam after a song by Syd Barrett, but Lucifer never stuck. It's too hard to say and Sam has such a sweet disposition. Sammy never stuck either because he's too elegant, so he became Samuel T. The T doesn't actually stand for anything, but somehow it sounds right. It's hard to believe our 18 pound boy was once so small!
