Uncertainty in Pakistan Ahead of Presidential Vote

As Pakistani lawmakers prepare to elect a new president to replace Pervez Musharraf, there is political uncertainty even though Asif Ali Zardari of the Pakistan People's Party is expected to win. Contributing to the uncertainty is the ongoing power struggle between Zardari and a former prime minister who pulled out of the ruling coalition led by the PPP. Analysts warn that if political turmoil persists and the economy continues to worsen, the Pakistani military might intervene as it has in the past. VOA's Ravi Khanna reports.
