Originally recorded December 18, 2018. This is the wi-fi outlet we've all been waiting for! It is an outdoor-rated wi-fi outlet. Of course you'll need to make sure that you have adequate wi-fi coverage outside, which can easily be tested with your phone. It's got 3 outlets on it, and acts as 3 wi-fi outlets in one. You do get a full 15 amps through it, but being that it's split 3 ways, you cannot exceed 15 amps total through it. (It's not split 5-5-5, you can slice and dice it any way you want). It also is voice controlled, using either Amazon Echo or Google Home. Setup is very easy, works just like any other wi-fi outlet. Very easy, and the app allows you to individually control each outlet on it. Great for holiday lights--imagine the luxury of asking your voice assistant to turn your lights on!
