Sakhali and Ponda municipality results have clearly rejected local MLAs’ panel. Ravi Naik panel could manage to get only 3 seats in Ponda, while, MLA Pramod Sawant’s panel also got only 3 seats in Sakhali. Tough, picture seems to be very clear at Sakhali municipality; Sawant is hopeful of forming council with the support of independents. However, Dharmesh Saglani whose panel seems to have 10 councillors has challenged MLA Sawant to attempt. On the other hand Ponda Municipality has not given clear mandate to any panel.
