Pakistan will strengthen cooperation with China in the field of air defense

Pakistan is increasing the volume of military-technical cooperation with China in the field of air defense assets (AIR). This was reported to TASS by a representative of the Ministry of Defense Industry of Pakistan during the international exhibition IDEAS 2018, held in Pakistan in Karachi from 27 to 30 November.

"Cooperation in the field of air defense with China remains one of the priorities of the development of the armed forces and defense industry of Pakistan. Thus, Islamabad became the first foreign customer of the LY-80 medium-range Chinese anti-aircraft missile system (ZRS) for the Chinese army TASS) ", - informed the source. According to him, the Pakistani armed forces have ordered nine LY-80 divisions, of which five have already been delivered and put into operation.
