I just love doing these kinds of songs, uptempo stuff with vocals. Yesterday I recorded for 3-4 hours for the vocals. Lots of retakes as well as figuring out my actual lyrics. I rarely write my lyrics beforehand because my songs change around a lot. I got some help from a friend with the lyrics and she provided pretty much the chorus and the bridgy part. I added just a few things as well as writing the verses. This song is entirely new and was created last week and today I finished it. I have some un-finished projects which I am going to try and finish as well now that I have easier ways of recording my vocals.
