Kubota L285 tractor first start.

I found this 1980's Kubota tractor on Craigslist a few months ago, and have been in contact with the owner since then. Today I made the 60 mile trip to pay for it and bring it home, knowing A) it is missing the hood and grill and needs the steering box bearings replaced that is already apart.. B) the tractor was driven under the barn where it's been sitting since. And I wasn't sure if the engine had any hidden issues or even turned.. C) the hydraulic oil leaked out from a hose that needs replacing and engine oil wasn't on the dipstick, So I added oil to the engine and hooked up my portable diesel fuel tank connected A battery and loosened the injector lines and cranked it until fuel was coming out of the lines, tightened them back up and cranked it again, it fired right up, without the use of glow plugs Kubota L285 is a 30HP 2WD model that weighs about 2300lbs. Engine model V1500-A which is a 4 Cylinder 1.5L
