... and it wasn't pretty. I hilariously get lost in the lamp room and survive in only the way an invisible hunter can. In the shrieker hall I practically shoot myself in the face due to a proximity rocket blowing up on a thrall rather than the shrieker I was aiming at. I try to take on the Deathsinger and a gazillion thrall with Raze Lighter and fail epically. And Crota...I had all kinds of trouble picking up the sword after downing him with Raze Lighter. I would hold square until my thumb bled but that damn thing wouldn't pick up try after try. I even went back to orbit thinking maybe a fresh instance would fix it if it was some kind of lag glitch (I edited that out to save you from sitting through my pain) but when I went back it screwed me over again the very first time I tried to pick it up, leaving me with only two sword attacks before having to run (you'll see that, it's when I swipe pointlessly at Crota with Raze Lighter again instead of the sword it should have given me when I held down square). I have since learned a heavy Raze Lighter attack can cause a random delay with picking up the sword! Maybe if I'd done some research I would have known this. Anyway, I make a ton of other mistakes in this video because it was late, I was tired, and also I pulled off some plain old bad play. But whatever. This was my first time ever attempting a hard mode raid and in the end I did get that sweet sweet Epic Raider trophy, so watch and enjoy my fails and eventual in-the-nick-of-time success.

2025 update: Looking back after 8 years of almost daily videos that do even less views than this one has done, I kind of wish this wasn't just the last hard mode raid I ever made a video on, but was the last video I ever made too. Live and learn I guess.
