He's trapped in my room while we have visitors, and doesn't want to consume the rawhide at this time, preferring to save it for later. Unfortunately I'm not letting him out back where he'd lose it forever. Not to be deterred, he buried it under my slippers and went to sleep, happy in a job well done.
