What a special moment! John Markham wins the NHRA Finals and his tribute to the late Tom Sudman was put on camera and in front of thousands of fans! “Spooky” performed like the excellent racer he is and it sure seemed like the spirit of “Mr. Kawasaki” Sudman was riding with him! One year ago to the day Markham accepted my invitation and bravely took off his delay box to come down and race the IDBL Finals at Rockingham Dragway. I will always appreciate that. I’m very proud to say there is a Cycledrag sticker on that bike! Spooky is a total class act. Big congrats on your world title! Godspeed Tom Sudman.
