Fabian Prynn is the resident engineer at 4AD Records, the influential label behind releases from Bauhaus, Pixies, Cocteau Twins and more recently Grimes, The National and D.D Dumbo. Whether producing, engineering, arranging, drumming or programming synths, Fabian can turn his hand to pretty much anything, and he explains how he’s using the Roland D-50 synth plugin via Roland Cloud rather than the original D-50 hardware synth – which was released before he was even born.
