I uploaded a six-string finger-picking version of this lovely hymn a few days ago as a practice for singing it at a fellowship meeting at my friend's church at St Mary's on the Harbour, Castletown yesterday. When I got there, I realised that I had picked up the wrong guitar and had brought my 12-string in error. I therefore sang the hymn accompanying myself strumming this instrument. I decided that it actually sounded better that the version I had intended to play, so thought you might like to hear this version too and perhaps compare the two. I would appreciate your thoughts as to which is the better, so please feel free to comment. Thank you.
