The PW-5 is a lightweight, single-seat sailplane designed for the IGC World Class. The goal was to create an affordable competition glider where pilots could compete on equal terms without needing the most expensive aircraft. For club members, this glider cost only about $20 per hour to fly, making it an affordable way to experience real cross-country soaring.
