My brand new autonomous car the tesla s convertible arrived today and so i took it for a test drive to put it though its paces , its just so amazing how it drives itself and responds to any incident in the road using the latest computer vision. Autonomous vehicles feel their surroundings with such techniques as radar, lidar, GPS, Odometry, and computer vision. Advanced control systems interpret sensory information to identify appropriate navigation paths, as well as obstacles and relevant signage.[5][6] By definition, autonomous vehicles are capable of updating their maps based on sensory input, allowing the vehicles to keep track of their position even when conditions change or when they enter uncharted environments
