We are continuing our discussion with Ben Rice. Today he is advocating for the idea that there is one interpretation of the Bible. He also asks me how I explain forgiveness, which seems to be a very odd question. So first up is forgiveness. I mean I don't know what to say other than what I would tell a child. Forgiveness is a psychological and sociological thing. For some people it's hard and for others it's easy. Forgiveness is more about you getting past things that have hurt you. He seems to want a different answer so of course I don't answer the question. Next, we have one interpretation of the Bible. I tried to do a compare and contrast on Christians now and Christians before slavery were abolished. He then goes into a long diatribe where he talks about slavery in the bible.
