Rays of Sunshine ward opens at Kings College

On 16 March, Kings College Hospital, London celebrated the opening of the brand new Rays of Sunshine ward which replaces the old 'Mountbatten Ward'. The £1.8 million Rays of Sunshine Ward will be home to children with liver disease, many of whom will go on to have liver transplants. Kings now boasts the busiest paediatric liver centre in Europe, treating more than 3000 children every year. Without Rays of Sunshine contributing £500,000 this project would not have been possible.
