My self-made primitive short-bow.  The cordage used is handmade by myself from locally grown industrial hemp and the glue I made using hide and sinew from cow, deer, and elk.

I credit John McPherson with my understanding of the working physics of a bow.  The concept for this bow design would probably not have occurred to me without having seen his Naked Into the Wilderness series.  We all just modify what our betters discovered before us.  I certainly claim no right to the design so feel free to use it at will.
