Hey yall!! So in this video I offer some advice and tips on being a YouTuber, specifically in the Natural Hair community. I'm just small shrimp now. This is a hobby for me. My main goal was to capture my natural hair journey and maybe get some free products in the meantime. I have not had to buy styling products (unless I wanted to) in over 3 years. Based on the advice of another YouTuber, I've decided to start charging for reviews.

Now there are thousands of natural hair YouTubers. To get noticed, you need to be providing content that's popular and trending in the natural hair community. Right now hair care videos specifically wash day's and co-washing are very popular. Hair journeys and hair straightening videos are also hot.
If you decide to do product reviews, my recommendation would be to start with products you've already used. Keep the review short and to the point. Be honest in your review. Your subbies will know if your just being nice and it'll start to get old FAST.
