An exciting young talent from East London, Tanaya Ice is fresh from the dance battle scene with a style that incorporates many influences including flexing, breaking and something quite undefinable. Joining Boy Blue Entertainment in 2012 with his background in freestyle hip hop, he has since performed at Breakin’ Convention, BBC Arts and was part of Boy Blue’s latest production, Project Rebel at Edinburgh Festival. Battling and training in hip hop dance, Tanaya has won various battles in the UK and overseas and judges and teaches workshops. In the future he would like to be known as one of the great artistic directors in hip hop dance theatre. His aim is to gain the knowledge to create works of art that touch the human genome through movement and expressionism while being abstract and unique.
