CANSEC Conference Begins

Minister of National Security, Stuart Young, has urged the various security forces under the Caribbean Nations Security (CANSEC) to focus on key areas like organised transnational crime, narcotics, small arms, and natural disasters. He was speaking at the start of the CANSEC Two-Day Conference which began Wednesday at the Hyatt Regency Hotel. He said the real work starts at the end of the Conference. Admiral Craig Faller of the US Southern Command said the aim is to share ideas for new ways to grow their team and build trust among nations.
