Soon we’ll be leaving the freezing cold behind and going to a world where the climate is much more humid and the conflicts stormy. While the jungle world doesn’t add many new units into the fray, the ones that are introduced are some of the most powerful and useful in the game, able to swing whole levels in your favour. Speaking of the levels, it’s about now when the levels truly become asymmetrical, posing unique challenges for you to overcome and subtle advantages for your opponent as well as the blatant unit advantage they have at the start. Now more then ever, your initial plays need to be smart and efficient, working to undo the lead your foe has and build up a defensive position that you can hold.

If you’re anything like me, you’ll start to rely more and more on heavy tanks in this world. They’re fantastic in defence and can take on most opposing units without taking much damage themselves, only losing out to howitzers, snipers with grenades and being ganged up on by multiple units. One unit to watch out for are pyros, especially when paired up with another unit that can distract the heavy tank, for their flame guns can quickly melt through the slow moving armour of your vehicle and reduce it to molten slag.
