2018 Yamaha YZR-M1 Semakin Di Depan motorcycle seen from outside and inside. Engine is 1000 ccm Liquid cooled, inline four-cylinder with crossplane crankshaft, over 176 kW (240 hp). Chassis is Aluminium twin tube, Delta Box with multiadjustable steering geometry. Aluminium swingarm. Suspension is Öhlins upside down front forks and Öhlins rear shock Transmission is six-speed cassette-type, gearbox with alternative gear ratios available ECU By Magneti Marelli, in accordance with FIM Regulations Wheels are Forged Magnesium 17” front and rear. Tires are Michelin, 17” front and rear, available as slick and wet tyres. Brakes are Brembo, two 320 mm or 340 mm carbon front discs, two four-piston callipers. Single stainless steel rear disc, twin-piston calliper. Weight is 157 Kg, in accordance with FIM Regulations. The motorcycle was shown at Paris Motor Show 2018.
