The MTO drivers handbook clearly recommends at least a 2 second space between you and the vehicle ahead of you. Most people do not practice this. Trucks who do not follow this guideline are especially at risk to accidents and causing death. Harsh. Yes. It's just a fact. A bigger, heavier vehicle cannot stop faster than a lighter one.
