Fr. Joachim on the accounts of Anna and Simeon who lived in the temple in Jerusalem and were the two people of the Old Testament who recognized Jesus as the Messiah and thus the old covenant was ending and the new one starting. Father highlights their holiness and the need for us to follow their example to be more than just without mortal sin but, "be perfect, just as your heavenly Father is perfect." Mat 5:48
