HOW TO MAKE SPICY SAUTEED OKRA WITH EGG/CHATPATA BHINDI ANDE KE SAATH THE HEALTHY WAY! Ingredients and methods of cooking Okra one pound clean and cut length wise One teaspoon olive oil First heat up the one teaspoon olive oil then add ½ tsp. cumin seeds Pinch of asafetida Roast it till brown Now add the okra and saute it five minutes Add all the spices 1 tsp. salt or according to your taste ½ tsp. Turmeric 1 tsp. vegetable masala ½ tsp. Garam Masala ½ tsp. cumin powder freshly grounded 1 large onion sautéed 1 tomato seeded and cut Cook everything for 20 minutes in low heat covered. Do check it often to be sure it is not burned at the bottom. When it looks dry then sprinkle some water and saute. When it is done keep it aside and make the egg omelet according to your taste. How to make the omelet I have only use the egg whites I have used 4 egg whites I used some masalas like salt, black pepper, cilantro leaves chopped, vegetable masala, cumin seeds. I tsp. olive oil I made the omelet. Now decorate the okra with eggs. Enjoy it with Brown rice or bread.
